Opening Day…long gone…

So as Emily mentioned in her previous post, Opening Day 2008 was AMAAAAAAZING for all of our fans that made it out to the ballpark.
From all the blackhawks provided by the Kentucky Army National Guard, to Big L parachuting into the stadium to the fireworks at the end of the night…we definitely had a success story on our hands.

Me personally though, I’m sure that I had a panic attack, an ulcer and sweaty pit stains from all the things we had going on during that first game.

Thankfully, things went on without a hitch, so that brought Tuesday and Wednesday, then the rest of our ballgames for the week (Thursday-Sunday)

It’s Monday, April 14 now and the last day of our 8-day homestand.
Yes, that means long, long days of working, eight days in a row.

But every Monday, here at the ballpark, we have Kids Eat FREE sponsored by a local bank here in town (Member’s Heritage). Any kid 12 and under can come to Applebee’s Park and receive a FREE combo meal on us. Now, if you’re reading this…you DEFINITELY can’t turn this down.
Hopefully, this can entice you to save a few dollars on dinner for the family and bring your kids out and enjoy a great baseball game between the Legends vs the Augusta GreenJackets.

If you end up missing this Monday (which I hope YOU don’t) Our next home game is: TUESDAY, APRIL 22 @ 7:05pm versus the West Virginia Power.

So try and make it out then. We’ll have a six-game homestand then.

Until then, keep reading and keep it SUPER fans!
