Well Hello Hello Hello! Hiii Legends Fans!
Welcome into the 162nd edition of Diggin’ In to the Legends with SuperMario and EBJ!
We’re EXACTLY 56 days away (YIKES!!!) from Opening Day 2009 for the Lexington Legends baseball team and the excitement is definitely starting to build here at good ole Applebee’s Park.
Last Thursday, marked the conclusion of the Legends Radio Caravan that literally criss-crossed the Central Kentucky area. As mentioned during the last couple of blogs, we made stops in five different counties and met with folks from all walks of life. Our final stops on the express brought us to Danville and Lexington. In Danville, we met up with students from the Kentucky School for the Deaf down at a Fazolis restaurant on Hustonville Road. The kids were great and enjoyed all the festivities we had to offer.
But, since we’re gearing up for the big day, there obviously, is no end in sight as this past weekend was a BIG 2-days for the Lexington Legends. Our 2009 National Anthem Tryouts were held and definitely was a SUCCESS!!!!
Hundreds of people took turns belting out The Star-Spangled Banner at Fayette to audition for a chance at singing the national anthem at a Lexington Legends home game this year.
It’s Monday now, so EVERYONE here in our office is trying to recover from the weekend and get ready for our next projects that are just around the corner.
